The design features carp in ancient jet black lacquer. In pursuit of true beauty, we use pure silver and gold leaf.
Maki-e is the technique of Japanese lacquer art which scatters gold and silver powder from the top of lacquer and paints . The technique gold lacquerwork builds gold and silver powder up at the place where a design was carved on a layer of lacquer by a carving knife and it was carved. A technique of this gold lacquerwork is used and the stable design is carved early from the back of the lacquer glass, and special lacquer once again and applies a coat corresponding to a dishwasher in the end after gold and silver powder is scattered on the part including special lacquer. Because I make lacquering from the back of glass, you may not hurt lacquering even if you use a fork or a knife. It adapt to a dishwasher.

Care Instructions
Special lacquer is applied to the back of the glass and covered with a special dishwasher-safe coated resin. Since the lacquer is applied to the back of the glass, cutlery can be used on the surface, which was considered impossible with conventional lacquerware because the surface is glass. Special coating is applied to the back of the glass to prevent cutlery from damaging the coated surface.
The color of the same coating may look different depending on the type of glass.
Precautions for handling
- This product is painted. If the special dishwasher-safe coated resin on the back of the glass is scratched by friction, contact between dishes, or hitting the corners, etc., and if detergent or other substances penetrate the lower layer, the coated resin may peel off or cause discoloration or deformation. If the above is the case, please refrain from using a dishwasher and wash by hand.
