The Tale of the Boar In Japanese culture, the boar is a symbol of reckless courage and vitality. Set against a backdrop of flowing autumn clover (Hagi), the boar is rendered with a gentle three-dimensionality, creating a striking contrast with the delicate, swaying branches of the bush clover. Each line is meticulously hand-engraved using a sophisticated sandblasting technique, giving the glass a soft, frosted texture with stunning depth.

A View from Above The intricate patterns extend to the bottom of the glass. When you peek inside, the translucent carvings play with the light, making every sip of your favorite sake a visual delight.

The Art of Edo Cased Glass These cups are made using the Kise-garasu (Cased Glass) method—a rare technique where a layer of colored glass is fused over clear glass. Unlike painted glassware, the designs are permanently carved into the glass itself and will never peel.
